The Person Behind Every Journey
Former military spouse. Insurance professional. Notary. AI coach. And most importantly — a mom who learned that the right trip can change everything.

My Story
My name is Holly Nave, and I'm based in Crowder, Oklahoma. I spent years as a military spouse — which means I know what it means to uproot, adapt, and find home in unfamiliar places. Travel wasn't a luxury for our family. It was survival, discovery, and connection all at once.
When my family member was diagnosed with sensory processing and anxiety-related needs, our travel world got smaller overnight. Hotels that seemed fine on paper were overwhelming in person. Cruises that promised "family-friendly" didn't account for sensory overload. I kept showing up and figuring it out — and eventually realized: I had information other families desperately needed.
MJ Bookish Travels was born from that necessity. I became a travel agent not to sell trips — but to be the person I wish I'd had. Someone who asks the right questions before anything is booked. Someone with real credentials, real connections, and real lived experience.
I hold CATA certification from Special Needs at Sea (specialneedsatsea.com) and am actively pursuing my CATP credential through IBCCES — the gold standard in autism and sensory travel certification. My services are commission-based through Outside Agents, which means you pay nothing extra for expert planning. Zero.

Sensory needs, anxiety, mobility challenges, or anything in between — these are not reasons to stay home. They are reasons to plan better.
I ask the questions other agents skip. Not because I'm prying — because the right information makes the difference between a good trip and a transformative one.
Whether your family is celebrating, healing, reconnecting, or simply overdue for an adventure — travel is how we write the memories that outlast everything else.
My services are commission-based. You pay the same price you'd pay booking direct — and you get a dedicated expert in your corner at no additional cost.
